Leonard Hale, Senior Pastor
Our senior pastor, Len Hale, grew up in Wisconsin. After experience in the business world, he enrolled at Moody Bible Institute. He later received his undergraduate degree from Northwestern College, and received his Masters and Doctorate from Dallas Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Shirley, have five children: Nanette, Dan, Philip, Kim and Pamela. They also have ten grandchildren: Crysti, Chad, Alec, Christian, BrookLynn, Lincoln, Victoria, Nicolas, Madison and Sadie. Len has over 40 years of pastoral experience.
David Pierce, Youth Pastor, Awana Ministry Director
Our youth pastor, David Pierce, grew up in Springfield, IL and came to Kansas City in 2003 to attend Calvary University. He and Meghan were married in 2006, and they homeschool their three children, Zoey, Micah, and Ethan. David has worked in youth ministry for over 15 years, graduating from Calvary University with a B.S. in Youth Ministry (2010), and is currently a ThM student at Dallas Theological Seminary.
Doug Howe, Visitation Pastor
Doug served as minister of visitation for five years at the First Baptist Church of Lincoln Park, Michigan. Then he and his family served as missionaries with Berean Mission on the island of Grenada, West Indies where they were involved in church planting from 1971 to 1977. A return to the states for health reasons led him to serve in the midwest as Berean Mission's representative. In 2000, Berean Mission merged with UFM which is now CrossWorld and he continues his ministry on college campuses as a missions mobilizer. Doug, and his wife Dolores, have three children and three grandchildren.
