While attending Midwest Bible College in St. Louis, which later merged with Kansas City Bible College and has now become Calvary Bible College & Theological Seminary, Peggy made the decision to become a missionary. After joining Global Outreach Mission in 1953, she traveled to France in 1954, and began calling in homes, passing out tracts and getting involved in tent meetings in the summer. She has gone from village to village, calling on people and selling Gospel calendars. She is now involved with the Eglise Protestante Evangélique (Protestant Church Evangelical) in ministries, visitation, literature distribution, ladies Bible studies, evangelization, follow-up, counseling, church treasurer, practical work on the buildings, church correspondence, and speaking at church services, just to name a few. In addition, the church has also covered a great number of villages in their area going door to door witnessing to people personally and distributing literature. For several summers they had teams of young people from Operation Mobilization helping them in their evangelization efforts. The Bible Center, which is located on the same property as the church, has the capacity to accommodate large or small groups, individuals and families for use in conjunction with special meetings, seminars, vacations and short camps. This is also a large part of her responsibility there.
As Peggy continues the Lord’s work in southern France, please consider praying for her, the church & center, and what the Lord might have you do personally to further His Kingdom in this largely growing Muslim dominated country. Global Outreach Mission (GOM) is an interdenominational foreign missionary organization based in Buffalo, New York. Matthew and Karen - Ireland
Matthew and Karen are graduates of Moody Bible Institute, where Matt received a B.A. in Pastoral Studies and Karen received a B.A. in Communications - Print Media.
Appointed to Greater Europe Mission as missionaries to Ireland in June 2004, Matt and Karen joined the GEM Ireland team in discipleship, outreach, and church planting ministries. They completed their EuroQuest term in 2010 and returned to Ireland as long-term missionaries in 2013. They presently reside in Dublin with their children, Jackson, Ella and Asher.
Please pray for this family, that through building relationships and assisting the evangelical church in Ireland, they can help replace the division and apathy over religion with the life-changing message and eternal hope that comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ.
